These are all the current and back-issues of Galatea's Pants. Included also are one-issue zines that I've done over the years. Payable through PayPal with a credit card.

One Year Subscription
A one-year subscription buys three issues. Issues usually come out in January, May and September, though I’ve been known to finish them late sometimes. You might get them in February, June and November. The subscription includes special issues or one-shot zines.

This issue examines the displacement of peoples, whether through colonization, immigration, war or natural disaster. How do we live in the 21st century consciously? How do we reconcile a history of conquest and white supremacy with a desire for justice? This issue features interviews with authors Laila Halaby and Sehba Sarwar, and comes with a sticker in support of Lt. Ehren Watada.

March 2007
A short and sweet issue for spring. A radical departure from all other issues to date, GP #20 contains only one piece of writing: an essay about traveling through China in the summer of 2006. More specifically, a dinner I attended with five businessmen, and the subsequent contemplations on beauty and globalization. This issue comes in a red envelope decorated with stamps.

This issue focuses on labor and class. It includes articles on unions, CAFTA, the significance of Hurricane Katrina, white privilege, corporate crime and victories over it, the Sago Mine Collapse, as well as Tucson's development and growth issues. There's also the usual poetry, reviews, plus 10 reasons to love Amy Goodman, a mix CD and a poster. 52 pages full size.

Axis of Evil Banquet
June 2005
This zine features recipes from Iraq, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela. Each section opens with the history of that country and the U.S. role in that history. And then there are some traditional recipes. Including date-filled pastries, Korean pancakes, herbed yogurt soup, and fried bananas.

Our Country
February 2003
This zine was made for IUP’s production of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues. It features personal stories, poetry and articles submitted by IUP women of all backgrounds. These heartbreaking and funny stories deal with sex, healthcare, rape and recovery, love and bodies. I was co-editor and layout editor of this zine.

In this zine you can see the 19-year old me working through what it means to be an activist, cutting at all the stereotypes and cultural confusion to try to understand what is important to me. There’s also some really kickass layout, and a color cover and centerfold.

This issue marks the transition of Galatea’s Pants from personal zine to political. My freshman year of college, I was surrounded by misogynist creeps and ladies against feminism. This issue was an attempt to explain feminism both to the people around me and myself. Includes essays about gender roles, harmful stereotypes and the importance of the women’s movement.

Includes an explanation to the title, a list of new years resolutions, stories of strong women in history who went against the grain, and random silliness. #1 is also home to the most embarrassing article I have in print: "TRUE LOVE WAITS!" Well, I was 16. What can I say?
