I'm Lauren Eggert-Crowe and I've been writing Galatea's Pants since I was 16. I'm a graduate of the Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pennsylvania, where I majored in English, with minors in Spanish and Women's Studies. I earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Poetry from The University of Arizona

My work has been published in Puerto Del Sol, You Are Here: The Journal of Creative Geography, So To Speak, Alligator Juniper, DIAGRAM, Water-Stone Review, Terrain.org, and Dirty Goat. In 2007, I won the University of Arizona Poetry Center Prize judged by poet Srikanth Reddy.

In 2007 I fulfilled a New Year's Resolution to read my weight in books, which had taken me three and a half years to complete. You can track my progress here.
